8th Grade TRIP TO SiX FLAGS GREAT AMERICA 

Students are invited to enjoy a special optional outing on Thursday, May 29, to Six Flags Great America chaperoned by the 8th grade teachers.

• Time: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM


• Arrival: Students must arrive at Daniel Wright by 10:00 AM sharp; buses will depart promptly at 10:15 AM. Students may not be dropped off prior to 10:00 AM. 


• Transportation: Parents must provide transportation to and from Daniel Wright Junior High. Transportation will be provided to and from Six Flags from Daniel Wright via bus. 


• Parents will need to pick up their child from Daniel Wright at 5:30 P.M.


• Deadline to register: May 16, 2025, no exceptions.


• Eligibility: Students must be in good standing behavior to attend the trip. The principal reserves the right to deny any student of this privilege


• Additional Information: Students should dress appropriately for the weather and bring enough money to purchase additional food or drinks if desired.


• Disclaimer: If a major behavior issue occurs at the park, DW staff will contact parents, and parents must be willing to come pick up their student if needed.

Season Pass holder -  $12 for transportation fee for Season Pass holders

- includes the bus transportation to and from Great America

- Students using their Season Pass will not have the food option

- Students will need to provide their own lunch
