7th Grade Field Trip to the Griffin Museum of Science & Industry
On Wednesday, January 15, 2025, our 7th grade students will have the exciting opportunity to visit the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. During this field trip, the students will explore a variety of fascinating exhibits: The Henry Crown Space Center, Notes to Neurons, SpaceX Dragon Spacecraft, The Blue Paradox, The U-505 Submarine, Science Storms, and many more! In addition, we will be seeing Space: The New Frontier in the museum's giant dome theater, which offers an immersive experience on the wonders of space exploration.
This promises to be an inspiring and educational experience for our students, and we look forward to a day of hands-on learning and discovery!
DATE: January 15, 2025
Departure time: 9:00 AM from DW
Return time: approx by 3:00 PM return to DW
Cost: $30. This will cover the cost of the tour and the bus.
Registration: Opens December 10th at 8:00 AM and will close January 13th at midnight
Please register students by their Advisory/1st period teacher
Students will need to bring their own bag lunch and drink. No microwave will be provided. No Quest provided.
Food may not be eaten on the bus and must remain sealed.
